Key management personnel have each had extensive experience in their relevant markets and bring a wealth of knowledge and management skills to the Group’s business. Their expertise encompasses management of technically challenging projects, identification of key risks, financial control in debt and equity funding, and management of complex client relationships.

Guy Farrands - Managing Director and CEO Grad Dip Man, FAPI Guy Farrands is Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Group and has had 24 years experience in direct and listed property markets. He was previously CEO and Head of Corporate Development for Valad Property Group and Division Director of the real estate division of Macquarie Bank’s Investment Banking Group, where he gained extensive experience in developing new property investment products, mergers and acquisitions and equity capital raisings. Prior to this he was Associate Director and joint head of property for Heine Management Limited (since acquired by ING) where he was responsible for property acquisition, development and leasing programmes for three listed property trusts.

Robert Bosiljevac - Executive Director and General Counsel LLB, Dip Bldg Rob joined Short Punch and Greatorix Solicitors in 1991, where he focussed on property and commercial law, developing extensive knowledge and experience in contract law, commercial property transactions, commercial and retail Leasing, cottage and project conveyancing, institutional lending and business sales and purchases. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 1997. In 1999, he joined leading boutique property development practice, Hickey Lawyers, as a member of their Property/Commercial Law division. During his tenure, Rob was able to hone his skills and experience in the property and development industry and has acted for many prominent local, national and international developers in a wide and diverse range of challenging developments and legal transactions along the eastern seaboard of Australia. He joined GEO Property Group in 2007.

Scott Payten - General Manager Development BEng, MDIA Scott has gained extensive experience in all aspects of property development having been involved in the industry since 1994. He began his career as a consulting engineer and subsequently furthered his experience in construction and development management through various management positions with highly recognised property development companies in both private and public sectors. In 2005 Scott joined Villa World Limited where his vast experience in all aspects of the business formed the foundations for his current position as General Manager Northern Region. In this role Scott is responsible for the Groups property development acquisitions, joint ventures and business development and he oversees the Groups property development and construction functions in Queensland and New South Wales.
