QUEENSLAND developer Villa World has released new house-and-land packages for residential development in the Redland Shire.
Villa World purchased the 4.8ha site, The Sanctuary at Redland Bay, from Cosmopolitan Developments last year with plans to develop the remaining land as a $23 million estate.
Marketing and sales manager Dean McMahon said Redland had experienced a shortage of land for residential development. ``The area is a beautiful, picturesque bushland setting close to the bay and, quite simply, many people want to live here,'' Mr McMahon said.
He said the shire council's recent planning scheme meant there would not be enough land released to meet the growing demand within the region.
He said he expected The Sanctuary to be a success with locals as Villa World was able to deliver quality, value-for-money products.
The Sanctuary will incorporate a variety of single and two-storey, pictured, house designs. ``This selection will give our purchasers a great range of homes to choose from,'' he said.
The estate has proximity to Moreton Bay and will provide residents with elevated home sites in a tranquil, semi-rural environment with surrounding parkland.
Seventeen house-and-land packages have been released in the initial stage.
Homes are priced from $361,900 and for the second stage will sell between $355,000 and $421,000. Block sizes vary from 450sq m to 850sq m.
